Lets just start out by saying that since we have been married we have been to California/Disneyland on five different occasions. We are big fans. It was especially nice when we were livign in Phoenix because it was just a short little car ride and we were at the gates of Disney. This year we went with the entire Pulley side of the family. We hit the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the beach, and 3 days at Disneyland. It was little hectic but a ton of fun. Talmage developed a firm favorite ride at Disneyland and Splash Moutain takes the cake. The last day before we headed home we rode splash mountain 5 times in a row. Road bumps: Mapquest sucking, washing BBerry in the washing machine, Cadence puking on Jeff's shoe, sunburns, and sand from the beach EVERYWHERE. Best parts: Splash Mountain, perfect weather, feeding dolphins, petting sting rays, panda bears, splash park at bug's life, the return of Captain EO, Chipotle, sword souvenir, and the white chocolate raspberry swirl cookie from the Disney bakery.

Fireplace Transformation
Two weeks ago our awesome brother-in-law came up and stayed with us for a whole week and brought his wood working skills with him. Chelsi came up with the vision and drew a picture of what she wanted and just like that Jardin made it happen. There was a couple bumps in the road but it turned our EXACTLY how we wanted it to. Thanks Jardin!!!

Baby Animal Days
Last week the whole Pulley family headed up to Logan for the Baby Animal Days at the American Heritage Center. All of the farm animals are having their babies this time of the year and they let the public come see and pet the little ones. They have a bunch of other fair type activities. It was really fun and the weather was great which was new this year for Logan. Talmage says his favorite baby animals were the baby bunnies and chicks. We are pretty sure that Cadence's favorite was the little baby piglets. It was a really fun afternoon. After that everyone headed over to our house for a night of pizza, games, and partying. Good times.

BLOGGING SLACKERS
I know, I know, we have been total blogging slackers and haven't posted in 4 months so here is a little catch up. Since Christmas we have been decorating the new house slowly but surely. Jeff had his 28th birthday. Talmage turned 4 and got a bunch of fun toys and a fish. He then decided to put the fish in the bath tub with him...that fish is no longer with us:( Cadence finally started walking after nearly 15 months. It took getting shown up by her younger cousin to finally get her off her lazy bum. Chelsi has built up her piano studio nicely and is working three afternoons a week. Jeff is still really enjoying his job and loves the time he gets to hang out with the kiddos. We really love the neighborhood we live in and Talmage has made a bunch of new little friends that come and pound on the back door to have him come out and play. He has been taking piano lessons and doing really awesome at it. I think it is in his blood. We are really looking forward for Spring to come and warm this place up a little.

Christmas 2009
We had such a fun Christmas this year. We started off the festivities with Jeff working on Christmas Eve...booooo. It wasn't that bad he got off at 1:00pm and so it was just the morning he had to work. In the evening we headed to Fruit Heights for the Christenson Family Christmas Eve Bash. We had a delicious dinner, played tons of games, and of coarse opened gifts. We had to have the party at a church this year because the family is getting so large. It took awhile to find the church due to some shotty directions, but once we got there the party was on.
Christmas morning was a blast with both Talmage and Cadence. The morning started off with Talmage waking up Chelsi by poking her in the eye. Nice. Then we got the camera ready and checked if Santa visited. He did! Talmage was so excited and loved all the toys he got. He got more than spoiled. His present he got from Santa was a Roller Coaster that he rides down in a little car. It got set up in the basement and he played with it all day. Cadence got some toys that make way too much noise, but she loves them. She also got a bunch of stuff for her new room which is in the process of being painted.
Overall a wonderful holiday!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADENCE!!!!!
Cadence's First Birthday was on the 11th of December. We celebrated it a couple days late so that we could throw a little party for her down in American Fork with family. We had such an amazing time and she, of coarse, was a perfect angel for the whole thing. She got very spoiled by all her aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We had Cadence's favorite food for dinner...Nachos. Then presents and the grand finale...the cake. She did not disappoint. It took her a minute to figure out what was going on, but after she got a taste of that sweet frosting she was hooked. We love this little princess so much and are so grateful to have her in our little family. Thank you to all that we able to spend this fun day with us.

The First of Many
Here are some pics of the first of many snow storms that we will be experiencing here in Cache County. Talmage loves the snow and would play in it all day if we would let him. Cadence is still trying to figure what exactly is going on with the white stuff. Also we thought it would be smart to put up our new mailbox AFTER there was snow on the ground and everything was sufficiently frozen. I believe the thermometer read 3 degrees outside. Good times.
