Last week Talmage had his first trip to the dentist. He wasn't scared at all and he pretty much though it was a party in his honor. He especially loved the spiderman sunglasses he got to wear to keep the light out of his eyes. He was so proud that he didn't have and "holes" (cavities) in his teeth. Ever since we had this little dental trip he has let us brush his teeth 100 times better and he even brushes his own teeth sometimes too. We have to savour these good dental trips because with his mom and dad's orthodontic history he is looking at a hefty stint of braces in his future.

So glad he didn't have any cavities--Halle had one on her first trip to the dentist (none since) and it was a VERY traumatic experience.
We hear you on the orthodontics. Sabrina already has crooked teeth. I didn't think that was possible in toddlerhood.
Good for him. We tried the dentist thing last summer with Hayden and he wasn't about to sit in the chair. We were hoping he would since his uncle is the dentist but NO WAY!!!
Wow! He did much better than Brynna, talk about meltdown! Her second one is coming up soon, hopefully she'll do better! Way to go Talmage!
