This week we headed to California to visit Disneyland and to the beach. Jeff has been working 12 hours shifts and got almost a week off so we decided it was time to head back to the happiest place on earth. We went in March of 2008 but Talmage was still pretty young and this time he was tall enough to ride almost every ride. He was a good sport and at least rode all the rides once. His favorite rides were the Winnie the Pooh and the Ferris Wheel in California Adventure. Cadence was a perfect little angel the enitre trip except for the ride home in which she yelled for two hours straight.
I realize there are a ton of picture. So much that they wouldn't all fit on one slide show.
We also went to Newport Beach for one of the mornings. It was Talmage's and Cadence's first trip to the beach ever. I think Talmage might have liked the beach more than Disneyland. It was a little windy and chilly but that didn't stop the little man from getting drenched and covered in sand, including his mouth. We even found a little crab that Talmage held for about 2 seconds until it pinched him.
I am so jealous! I would love to take my kiddos to Disneyland. It looks like you guys had a great time--so many cute pics. And that's funny about Talmage and the beach--it was the same when we went to San Diego--we did Legoland, Seaworld, Wild Animal Kingdom, but the favorite activity was finding seashells on the beach.

So things have changed a lot for us in the past few months. We have left our beloved Arizona weather and headed north for the winter. We just bought our first little house up in Cache Valley and just love it so much. Jeff has graduated and begun working in Cache Valley in a Family Medicine and Urgent Care Clinic. Chelsi loves the new house and all the decorating that comes along with it. She is trying to build up some piano students to teach again. Every time we move she has to start from scratch which is challenging but exciting. Talmage is almost 4 years old and loves being back in Utah. He misses his little Arizona friends but has made plenty of new little buddies. He is also in pre-school and loves it. Even more than school his loves his little sister who he refers to as “sissy.” Cadence is the cutest little princess in the whole world. She is 11 months old and as happy and chunky as can be. She smiles and giggles all day long and is absolutely fascinated with Talmage every move. We are blessed.

What a fun trip! We missed you at church though. Cadence is the chubbiest baby I've ever seen! (But don't worry, the chubbier the cuter in my book.)

how fun! we have yet to make it to DL yet! i hope to get there soon! we need to get together soon! what does next week look like?
